Muhammad asked how to get high voltage from arduino?
I want to use 5v relay with my arduino (UNO) I have tried but when I but the battery directly it works and when I use arduino to make it high or low it doesn't work except if I shack it I need that please I want high volt about 9 volt from the arduino (any pin) please help me
And got the following answer:
Most Arduino's use a 5V supply rail. You have a 5V relay. But while the I/O pins on an AVRmega probably do produce 5V, they won't provide 5V while also supporting the current needed by your relay. You don't need to produce 9V from an Arduino pin. You need a transistor to boost the current compliance of an I/O pin. The link below shows you one way you can do this. As you can see, it's not hard or expensive (all of the extra parts are only a few pennies each.) But you do need to be able to solder them together and follow a wiring diagram.
