Hello. I have a 1996 Honda Civic. The AC blower had stopped working for a while, then started working again for several days, and now it's off again... So this is an intermittent problem... I just replaced the blower fan resistor but that didn't do the trick. Could it be the blower fan relay? If so, where can I find this thing? Thanks, Ben
And got the following answer:
If you are talking about the blower motor for your a/c, this is assuming that it is a four speed then the first three speeds will be powered through the blower motor resistor and the highest fan speed will be wired directly to power through a fuse and a relay. I doubt it is a relay either they work or they dont there is no inbetween and it sounds like you have a wiring short somewhere. but to answer your question the relay is located: Under hood, passenger side, upper firewall, mounted in corner in relay block
