if you don't want to put in a relay, you can go getyourself a three-way light switch that has three contacts on it, a black screw called the common, where you hook up the power, and two brass screws for the switch leg to each valve. when you move the switch one way, power will go to one of the brass screws, move the switch the other direction, power will go to the other screw. basicaly what you want to do is have one valve powered at any given time. if the switch is up, V1 will be powered, and V2 will be unpowered. if the switch is down, V1 wil be unpowered, and V2 will be powered. so attach one wire from the battery to the black screw of the 3-way switch, attach wires from each of the the brass screws to one side of each valve, and attach another wire from the other side of the valve to the end of the battery. what will
