It is definetly possible. Here's how I did it. I purchased a bluetooth serial controller board from Sparkfun.com (Part no BlueSMiRF Basic @ $59.95). Connect this module to your robot's MCU's RX/TX pin forming a wireless serial port. Now you can talk to this serial port from a USB dongle on a PC or your 6600 Nokia. To talk to the robot from the PC using a dongle, use the My Bluetooth Neighborhood on a Win 2000 pc and establish a serial port connection. Once you get the virtual com port number, you can use Hyperterminal to send 'commands' to the bluetooth module on the robot. To talk using 6600, you would need a custom software on the phone. There are a few ways to go about developing this custom software. 1.) Write a Symbian OS application using C++, you can download the Series 60 SDKs from forum.nokia.com. Mind you the learning curve is steep. 2.) Write an application in VB using AppForge, this is the easiest option but the tool costs around $1000 3.) Use Python for Series 60 (also downloadable from forum.nokia.com). There are a few examples provided with the Python SDK on how to use the bluetooth serial port on the Nokia phones. This is the second easiset way to go about without breaking your wallet. I have provided the links to get started. 4.)
