Matt McCormick asked is a dpdt solid state have isolated pin sets for each side?
hi i bought a dpdt relay and tested it for resistance but i found that the two sets of pins have some resistance when going from one to the other, so i am wondering if that is just because it is solid state and if i power it it will be isolated from each other or if both sides are suppose to be connected in some way the resistance is 0.00 but that still is different than 00000 on my meter so i dont know if this is a problem or not
And got the following answer:
How much resistance? If it is very high, that is probably normal for that relay. The specs should tell you. If you want one with no resistance between the poles get a normal relay.
